“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” 1 Peter 2:9.
Halloween will soon be upon us, when children and adult dress and act like witches, when darkness and evil rules and all in the name of fun. (Sometimes even Christian families join in). Oh! How the devil laughs!
Funny how it never works the other way round? Will the same people ever say “Let’s dress up, go to church, read our bibles, pray and believe in God.” This could be done any Sunday (or weekday) all the year around. Then God would smile from heaven. Be wise when you walk in the light not to stand in the shadows of darkness, for fun or not.
